I am looking for the black plastic chain guide for a BB7.

It's supposed to keep the chain off the tyre, isn't it? Why do you think it's so useful? :> |

The racing setups came with them. Yes it's to keep the chain out of the tire. <----Canadian Spelling

If you can't find one, You could make one from wood and an acrylic panel. Just food for thought.

After season on BB7 I can't figure out, why this could be useful  I had no problems with chain touching the ty(i)re...

Went for a ride yesterday and half way down a run the tire grabbed the chain in a rough part while I was turning left. It doesn't happen very often, but it would be nice to have a guide. It completes the bike

just off the top of my head, if one wanted they could make a fibreglass mould out of one, then use that and just mold em out of acrylic or epoxie or something along those lines. |

There you go! Make me that and a PVC pulley for the chain and you could be making money. If I had a machine shop I would be making spare parts. |
